Main industries are clothing and shoe manufacturing, metal, extracting and processing of primary goods (timber, marble, rock), food processing, oil refining and chemical derivates, heavy machinery and household electronics. Romania is one of the most stable and prosperous states of Central, Eastern and South Europe.
